Who Am I?

Parker Trefz, M.S., OTR/L, is passionate about helping people step into greater levels of healing through a unique combination of hands-on bodywork, herbs, prayer, and inner healing ministry.

Parker received his Master of Science in Occupational Therapy in 2019, following a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance. His background in music also led him to sing professionally with an opera company for three years.

His journey into bodywork and healing has taken him around the world. Parker has traveled to Thailand nearly ten times and lived there for a year, where he studied Thai massage and traditional bodywork. For more than 10 years, he has also been involved in inner healing and deliverance ministry, receiving training from a variety of ministries and developing a combined approach based on his diverse experience.

Over the years, Parker has worked with a wide range of clients—from infants to the elderly. Every person’s healing journey is unique. Some experience significant breakthroughs in a single session, while others benefit from ongoing care and support.

Parker has a particular passion for gentle treatments designed for sensitive individuals, along with individuals whose immune systems have been affected by pathogenic and environmental factors. His goal is to create a safe, compassionate environment where people can receive care that honors the whole person—body, mind, and spirit.

At the heart of Parker’s work is a desire to see people step into fuller healing and wholeness, utilizing herbs, gentle hands-on work, and prayer.

And lately, Parker has discovered a surprising new favorite type of client: horses! Through working with and ministering healing to horses, he has witnessed breakthroughs that have been nothing short of miraculous.

Whether working with a person or an animal, Parker brings the same heart to every session: compassion, curiosity, faith, and a genuine desire to see healing take place.

My Approach

We are all created by intelligent design in the image of God. God has 3 parts: God the Father, God the son (Jesus), and God the Holy Spirit. Just as God has 3 parts, we have 3 primary parts to our being a spirit, a soul, and a body. Spirit Soul Body Therapy embraces a holistic approach by treating the whole person addressing the core root issues and not just treating symptoms. An individual can have something going wrong in just 1 of the 3 parts, yet all 3 parts can be negatively affected. Within the context of a Spirit Soul Body Therapy session we work together as a team identifying areas that are out of balance in those 3 parts and partner with the Lord to bring a resolution to problematic areas in physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health.

For example, if an individual is struggling with anxiety, the source of anxiety can be coming from any one of the parts of the spirit, soul, or body. Many people believe anxiety is considered to be a mental or emotional issue, however someone may experience anxiety from a nutrient deficiency in the physical body or even may have generational issues at work which would make the anxiety a spiritual problem. The treatment of the anxiety would be different depending on where the core root issue of the cause of the anxiety is coming from which will be uniquely formulated to the person specifically in a session.

Another example would be if someone was coming down with a cold or experiencing allergies. The source of the problem could be occurring in the physical body if there were pathogens or toxins present. People may be experiencing sickness or allergies which can be connected to stress or trapped emotions that need to be cleared out and removed. It’s also possible for someone to be dealing with a spirit of infirmity which would need a specific kind of prayer to bring freedom in that area. In a Spirit Soul Body Therapy session we would identify the source of the problem and come up with the exact treatment of what is needed to bring the person back into holistic balance.
